Cliffs

Texture & Color Settings

  • Cliff Texture Scale:
  • Controls the tiling size of the texture applied to the steepest area of the cliffs.
  • Cliff Normal Intensity:
  • Manipulates the flatness of the normal map applied to terrain cliffs (1 = totally flat, 0 = default normal intensity).
  • Cliff Tri-Planar Transition Contrast:
  • When Tri-Planar or Bi-Planar Projection is enabled for the cliff textures – this parameter allows for the control of the contrast between each direction of projection.
  • Cliff Color Tint:
  • Changes the overall color tint of the Cliff Diffuse Texture.
    Foot Hills

  • Foothill Slope Intensity:
  • Increases and decreases the foothill masking, Subtracted from the cliff masking.
  • Foothill Slope Contrast:
  • Controls the contrast level of the foothill masking.
    Texture & Color Settings

  • Foothill Texture Scale:
  • Controls the tiling size of the texture applied to the shallow parts of slopes (near the bottoms of cliffs).
  • Foothill Normal Intensity:
  • Manipulates the flatness of the normal map applied to terrain Foothills (1 = totally flat, 0 = default normal intensity).
  • Foothill Color Tint:
  • Changes the overall color tint of the Foothill Diffuse Texture.
    Transitions

  • Foothill Height Blend Intensity:
  • Changes the amount that the Foothill Displacement Texture is used as a transition between flatlands and slopes (Makes it appear as if rocks are poking through on slopes, rather than just covering).
  • Foothill Height Blend Contrast:
  • Controls the contrast level of the foothill Height Blending (uses the foothill displacement texture as a transition between Flatlands and Slopes).
  • Height Blend Stopper Intensity:
  • Controls the amount that the Foothill Height Based Transition is allowed to go up the side of the slopes (Utilizes slope detection to keep grass from appearing too far up the slope, when using height blending – for example).
  • Height Blend Stopper Contrast:
  • Controls the contrast in intensity that the Foothill Height Based Transition is allowed to go up the side of the slopes (Utilizes slope detection to keep grass from appearing too far up the slope, when using height blending – for example).
